The essays specifically ask for those things. They are looking for those very
aspects of life. They want to know what has been difficult in their life that they have overcome, what passions they have, what experiences they have outside of the classroom, etc.

It’s really not. Too many kids are going to BYU in spite of what it stands for and not because of it.
