I gotta be honest, my head's kind of spinning right now.
I know you don't need it, but let me provide a quick recap:

Heading into March Madness, BYU had just finished fifth in the Big 12, earned a six seed in the tournament, and was looking like a legit Elite Eight (Okay, Sweet Sixteen) team.

Then, just a few weeks later after BYU suffered an embarrassing first-round loss, Mark Pope accepts a position at Kentucky and Jaxson Robinson, Richie Saunders, Dallin Hall, Aly Khalifa all declare their intentions to leave BYU. Oh yeah, and Collin Chandler flips to Kentucky.

Then, at our lowest point, BYU announces the hiring of Kevin Young--a guy on BYU's radar but widely thought to be outside BYU's ability to get. In our darkest moment, BYU boosters, administrators, and leaders demonstrate a renewed commitment to BYU basketball and bring in one of the most exciting hires in the country. Subsequently Saunders and Hall announce they're returning to BYU.

Meanwhile in Lexington, not only does he lose a swath of UK commits and players, but our former coach is rebuffed by everyone not named Cody Fueger or Collin Chandler. He recruits Khalifa, Hall, Saunders, and Robinson, and each one of them turn him down.

I don't even know what to say about all this. I'm just kind of in a state of shock. But I know one thing: I feel really good about BYU.
