I think the only reason he would come to BYU is that he believes KY can help him develop into an NBA player.
On one hand, I think a guy like that could be good for BYU. Choosing BYU tells me he’s serious — he would be coming to a school with strict standards because he believes in the coach and wants to get better so he can be a pro.
On the other hand, BYU is a pretty deep team and I would wonder if he would stick with it if he’s not getting the minutes he wants. Hopefully having some history with Fous and Richie would help.
