You might see a jump in KD’s game after a Booker trade. But yeah, if you made that trade and got the same KD then you’re really cooked, because I don’t know how you’re gonna land draft picks if DBook is gone.

I think the suns could get both good players to help with an attempt at running it next year AND draft picks out of DBook, however. To me, it’s a no brainer.

Think of it this way: the gap between the Suns and the league’s best teams is big. Running it back, you’re not gonna make any changes outside of the big3 this offseason impactful enough to really close that gap.


Beal doesn’t have the trade value to close that gap.

KD might have the value… but if you think the Suns will be legit contenders with Booker as the first option, we’ll have to agree to disagree. So unless you can get a player better than Booker out of a KD trade, not worth it.

Booker, however, would land one of the biggest trade hauls we’ve ever seen. I think KD probably becomes better and I guarantee Beal becomes better too. You have a solid supporting cast in Royce, Grayson Allen, and Nurk.

Suns fans, yall have been so loyal to Book but this is an easy decision.
