I have one and the flavor of the meat it can produce is second to none. It does take set-up time etc. I connected a
wi-fi thermostat and fan to mine and I now sleep through the night like a baby not having to worry about it. As long as the charcoal is good and outside temps are stable, I don't touch it for the whole 15+ hr cooks that I do.
