Spent a few days in Orvieto. Took the train into Rome for the one of the days. Beautiful. We stayed at a small inn and
the innkeeper told us that Orvieto was named by the Romans and the name translates to “old city”. There are some Etruscan tombs below the city that are several thousand years old.
