My guess is when the dust settles BYU’s NIL will be very competitive and given the totality of things BYU will be his best option. He knows what he gets moreso than other schools-especially wrt teammates and my guess is they will all be pressuring him to come back to Provo if he doesn’t go pro. The team isn’t likely to win an NCAA Championship but it could have a special season and win a game or two in the tournament. The coach is a former NBA guy and I am sure that will sell well as far as developing Jaxson for the NBA. BYU might not be the highest NIL offer the kid gets but I bet it will be reasonable enough/close enough that these other factors will leave him believing BYU is his best option.

The biggest key is BYU will be deep enough that he won’t have to start.
