listing. Throughout conference play, JR wasn't good enough to be the featured player and get a ton of points at a fairly high profile school. He shot less than 30% from three in conference play and didn't exhibit much of a drive game. He got plenty of minutes when the coaches ran him at point guard encouraging him to drive it off of pick and rolls and facilitate, and he didn't do that particularly well.
If JR could've played through conference play with the same personal success he had in non-conference play and in the NCAA tournament game, then yeah he could be the top 2 or 3 player at a premier school and featured player there.
But if he wants tons of offensive usage and ball in his hands more often, he might have to transfer down a few levels to get to schools who would be interested in that.
