My friend Allan was in a business meeting with some VIPs from another company. As they were just starting the meeting, and doing introductions, he introduced himself as Allan. VIP who was leading the meeting said, "Can I call you Al?" His response, "If I can call you Betty". The guy got a strange look on his face, then continued with the meeting.
