I don't find that interesting at all, especially now
that it has been brought up so many times over the years. Why is it interesting that someone good enough to be great in lower levels of basketball wasn't good enough to be great in the highest level of basketball? Jimmer is far from the only person to experience not being good enough. He didn't have what it took to be successful in the NBA. Maybe it was skill. Maybe it was athleticism. Maybe it was confidence. Maybe it was all of the above. He wasn't good enough.

It happens. When I played on my high school team I frequently crumbled under pressure. When I played in other leagues with less expectation, it suddenly became far easier to make shots even though I wasn't any more open than I was in my high school games.

In all likelihood, Jimmer just couldn't deal with the pressure of the NBA.
