I used to think this, but even for last-minute flights, Southwest is usually the

most expensive option. In fact, the closer the date of travel, the more expensive Southwest usually is relative to the competition. I just checked a flight this morning, for a flight on Friday, and this is what happened.

I don't get it. Who flies these guys?
