Being let go and new leadership was coming in. I was worried and wanted to also leave. However, the new management convinced me to stay as I was a wanted piece to their new go to market strategy. And it was the best decision I ever made. This new leadership was coming from a massive tech company while we were a small tech company. Their new wealth of knowledge and connections convinced me I needed to stay close to these guys and it has tremendously helped my career path. This sounds very much like Halls path and conversations with Young. Young has deep connections in the NBA which cannot go unnoticed by these players.
