At least if you're talking about a ChatGPT style AI. What you'd come up with is a thing that would generate text that made it SEEM like it was evaluating the logical positions - and it'd probably even support its conclusions with examples from your text - but it wouldn't actually have done any reasoning to put it out there.

You need Artificial General Intelligence to do what you propose. Arriving at that step would be very close to achieving what computer science theorists call the "singularity" - when you create an AI sophisticated enough to design an improved version of itself, which can in turn design an improved version of itself... etc.
