And frankly, Dallin doesn't strike me as the level of selfish that could come to that conclusion based on his best games & overall performance this last season. He struck me as a kid who very much followed the gameplan & criticisms of the coaches — which was most apparent in his ability to rebound very well from bad performances.
As for 2022-23, it looked to me like Dallin handled his situation very maturely. Clearly Pope stuck w Rudy at PG often to the detriment to the team, but that's how recruiting promises & locker room chemistry & team leadership often go, unfortunately. Particularly on rosters with as much turnover as that one had.
