I've never heard of a differential wearing out due to a few extra rotations

caused by one tire being a slightly different diameter than the others. Even on an AWD car where there are 3 differentials. There could maybe be an argument made for having different traction during hard braking being a safety concern but I'd have no problems replacing just one personally.
