comfortable upbringing and stable family life. He went to an expensive private high school and attended a fancy private college for 3 years. Steph had every privilege and opportunity growing up. He is fairly polished and refined, as one would expect from someone with his background.
Lebron was born to a destitute teenage single mom, and never had his dad in his life. He grew up poor, moved a lot, and attended rough schools, as his mom struggled to make ends meet. At one point he went to live with another family as a sort of foster kid, because of his mom’s struggles. He didn’t attend college, as he jumped straight to the NBA (partly because of his family’s financial situation). His childhood and upbringing could have hardly been more different than Steph’s.
Lebron’s rough upbringing is still with him, and always will be, no matter how much money he makes. He isn’t particularly polished or refined, certainly not nearly as much as Steph. It isn’t surprising that he might rub some people the wrong way, relative to Steph.
