-Players like Lebron choosing coaching and basically being the GM
I don't think this is anything new. Magic famously had Paul Westhead fired.
-NBA players choosing any team any time they want.
This is a legitimate complaint. I don't like it either.
-Getting officiated differently
I don't like the officiating either. Its terrible. That said, I think the NFL has made more changes to officiating. The game has been affected even more than the NBA has. Yet no one seems bothered by the fact that the NFL is a completely different game today than it was 25 years ago.
-Sports media around the NBA. There is still good NFL coverage. They get matchup breakdowns and actual strategy discussion but the NBA is all about: Lebron vs MJ, has steph passed Magic, is KD top 10, etc. It is just terrible.
You must not have been around for Bird v. Magic
-Social justice crap doesn't bug me that much but it's definitely not helping me watch games.
That is fair
-Tanking for stars (has always happened but seems ramped up a bit)
That has always been the case. That's why the NBA is the only league with a lottery. I think the changes to the lottery and the play in tournament have almost eliminated tanking to the extent that it used to exist or that it exists in the nfl
