So I went down a rabbit hole of former BYU players and I came across some interesting names. Here is my starting five all name team along with a sixth man:

Sixth man:

Tie: Lawrell Jensen - 1930 - I do not know where he is from, but Cache County is my bet.
Nick Nakic- 1977 - I want to know if he transferred because his girlfriend "Patti Whackic" played for another school.

Starting five:

Sanky Dixon - 1926-29 - I hope he received that name because he was a prolific outside shooter.

Chick Little - 1946-47 - I could not confirm whether he didn't like walking under backboards due to a phobia of falling objects.

Rags Ingersoll - 1924-29 - I hope the Great Depression did not factor into this name.

Atiki Aly Atiki - 2022-23 - I have no idea what his name means, but it is just fun to say out loud. Like Sione Takitaki.

And the number one name of all time for BYU Basketball,

Hao Dong - 2023- Yes, my wife constantly accuses me of having the mentality of a 13 year old boy, but I'll own it.
