My company hired someone externally and it’s been a tough ramp up for my new boss. He owns several deliverables (I chip in, but I’m not fully in the weeds) and the review meetings with my boss’s boss are brutal.

I decided a few weeks ago to stay out of things during the review meetings and let him handle everything.
