pre-season had us by one. That was when the coaches thought Nani was on the team. I don't know if Mackey-Williams tore her ACL or not by then. Regardless, I like the direction. Besides, it reminds me of Dawn Staley, coach of Southern Carolina. She started with a very depleted roster and it took her 6 yrs to get to the sweet sixteen. She's been there sixteen years now. BTW, although a great WNBA player she had very little coaching experience when she took over. All of us have different timetables in life. Allow her to have hers.
None of us know what is in store for Amber Whiting, but to naysay everything she has done is disingenuous.
