Remember when Dave sent Treinen out there for 72 appearances in 2021? He's pitched in exactly 5 games in the 3 years since that season. Roberts burned his arm out in the regular season. He does it to 1 or 2 relievers every year.

Graterol also finally figured things out last year and was great, so Dave overworked him during the regular season by sending him out there 68 times when he had never pitched in more than 46 games prior to that. And now Graterol hasn't pitched this year and won't be back until maybe mid-season, if at all. You can't just run the same guys out there from the bullpen 3-4 games a week. They eventually break.
