BYU has 17,000 seats to sell every night. More than ten thousand seats went unsold last year. Total revenue from ticket
sales alone last year was north of $20M.
Getting Jax back for only $1M would get returned by increased ticket prices/total tickets sold alone. And then it would compound in future years as KY having a great 1st year would mean better recruits going forward.
Then add additional post season revenue (because we'll win more post season games), increased advertising revenue, more gear sales, better tv viewer revenue, more sponsors, more CC donations (so people can get season tickets) etc etc...
