I've seen several things along these lines as well. I take an approach of only
wearing sunscreen if I know I'm going to get burned (usually if I'll be out for more than an hour in sun between 10am and 2pm). Even in Hawaii, I could get out of school at 2pm and go surf all afternoon and never get burned at all. And I have red hair.

That’s me too. Every six months I see the dermatologist. I have had so many basal cells removed I have lost count.
