and many others posted was a mistake at the time and looks worse now. I don't think Wilson lives up to the hype and it is better for him to go somewhere else. I thought that from the beginning. I am sure the stipulation for offering Wilson is we wouldn't offer another QB which turned the Hammonds off. BYU was loyal to Wilson who was not loyal to BYU. I am sure the Wilson's would have been upset and we would have heard all about it if we went with Hammond. Either way BYU would have gotten flack but I don't think Wilson was a good choice for BYU or the Wilsons so they should have gone with Hammond.
