I've never seen any group of fans so excited about hiring two assistant coaches to run their basketball program. One of them got fired the last time he was a head coach (in the D-league, hired in 2011, lasted a whole 2 seasons), and the other one has been an assistant on one average-at-best team and one slightly above-average team.
Chris Burgess leaving will not have a huge impact on the Ute basketball team. They were already going to be bad this year no matter what. This changes nothing. The chances of him becoming Utah's next head coach are the same as they have always been.
