Utah was only $5M ahead in athletic revenue with P12 full payout…
when BYU was Indy/WCC in 2022/3. Check out the numbers under athletic revenue on the B12 Wikipedia page. That year included some increases in ticket prices for BYU, but nothing else. Once BYU gets the B12 partial distribution this summer, that may be enough to overtake the Utes. With the full distribution? It won’t even be close. It will just be a question of investing the perhaps $20M/yr advantage with effect.
