*Warning - based on recent posts, I expect this to be an unpopular opinion*

He suddenly left us for greener pastures and tried to lure our best players and empty the cupboard - which just seemed really nasty and not cool. But I gotta say, I LOVE where the team is at now and I honestly couldn't care less about Pope and what he does at Kentucky.

I don't like him, because I think he showed his true colors and I'm mad at myself for being taken in by that smarmy car salesman of a guy. He tried to talk so lovingly about BYU and how special it was for him/his family/the players, until Kentucky came calling and then BYU meant nothing to him.

"With that said", I seriously won't think about Pope for the rest of my life, unless someone on CB brings him up. I never cared about Kentucky and I don't think I will, going forward. Of course there will be the occasional story about Pope trying to recruit against BYU, I guess it might happen. But, seriously, I really like what is happening with BYU basketball right now and the direction we are going. It's exciting. So, I don't care about Pope being at the airport to greet Chandler. It's not awkward or strange. Utah coaches have done it. I've been glad when BYU coaches have done it. It's part of the job. Let it happen and let go of the obsession with Pope and what he ate for breakfast. He's just not worth our time anymore and we have way more to be excited about than we did a month ago.

Oh, and UtahFootballGM, if you've read this far, the Utes suck. I mean they really suck. They are the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. I'm sorry that your team is being decimated, wait, I lied. I'm not sorry. You have no fan support for your basketball team and you've become a feeder school for BYU, USU, and other programs in basketball. You have lost the only advantage you ever had over BYU while we were independent and you were in the unsinkable and glorious Pac-10.2. Funny, how quickly that league flew apart like glass shards. Anyways, I hope you have a good day. Dang it, I just lied again. I hope you grow up. Oh, just give me a eye roll, for old times sake. Please?
