...to Utah. Hard to say how much is coincidence with Burgess and Keita's timing. If Keita going to Utah was all because of Burgess then it begs the question, was Burgess working for BYU but recruiting Keita to Utah because he was planning to leave? Or was Burgess not as influential in Keita's recruiting and Keita planned to go to Utah all along?
As for Jaxson Johnson, he's a nice player and someone I would've wanted to see at BYU. I didn't say he was not a good recruiter but that's one guy and we were in the running for him just like Utah was in the running for Bahr. We got Bahr, they got Johnson. Doesn't seem like an advantage there. Wahlin's flip seems easily explained that it had to do with his former high school teammate Hunter Erickson and their AAU coach. Maybe Burgess was also an influence but I haven't heard anyone involved with that say that.
