For some reason reading about tech breakthroughs in energy gets me excited. We talk so much about wind and solar, but they use a ton of land, are unreliable, and solar, in particular, requires a lot of natural resources and is kind of dirty.
Geothermal could be like fusion in its potential for unlimited, totally clean energy that is more reliable than any known energy source. Don’t have to worry about water levels or the effects on river ecosystems like hydro. No waste, or the need to mine uranium, as with nuclear. No physics breakthroughs to be made as with fusion. Tiny footprint.
If this company can figure out how to “complete the well” after drilling it, you could have a geothermal plant almost anywhere in the world making unlimited, constant energy. Think of the consequences of that!
