I can get a ZERO % return over the next TWO DECADES and we’d STILL be even. Average index over the last 100 years is 10%
I could invest half of my $10mil and on average make what you make, plus have $5 million in cash or gold or whatever IN HAND as my hedge.
Much better option and no less secure.
With average market return I’m at about $26 million vs your 10 after 20 years.
If you don’t live that long it’s also much, much worse for your wife and kids than mine.
