the power button. If I hold it down, the power button lights up for ~30 seconds and then turns off again. The RTC reset instructions from Dell are to hold down the power button for between 25-40 seconds with the AC adapter plugged in, but that didn’t help. My next step would be to take off the shell and unplug the battery but I don’t have a star head bit small enough for the screws.

I’m trying to avoid a 2-3 hour drive to the office to have IT look at it. One of the perils of remote work I suppose…
