I guess that's all just opinion, then. At risk of stating the obvious...
He's valuing Markkanen higher than you, and/or suggesting that the Jazz should value him higher than that. Sounds like your opinion is different. The market would bear that out ultimately.

If the Jazz don't trade him at all, it's because the Jazz value him more than what anyone else in the market is willing to offer. It may be because the Jazz want 4 1st's and a top player.

I tend to think it will depend on what the Jazz view as their competitive window. If they think they can get to the playoffs and compete well when they get there in 1-2 seasons without trading Markkanen, then I think they don't trade him unless they get a really fantastic offer along the lines of what Tony is suggesting. If they are looking at 3-4 years for being seriously competitive, then they should value him differently and be willing to part with him for less.
