Reno has made great strides in the last 10-15 years. South Reno is your
Most expensive area. North Valleys is the best value. Sparks is nice but you have to drive in on Pyramid Hwy which is getting more and more crowded.
If you want to go a little more rural, try Verdi to the west, near the CA border.
