Sounds like you're starting new rumors: 3, 4, 5 and 6.
1 - I didn't hear that KY was offered the Nets job, but that he was considered (interviewed for it). Also, that he was on the radar for HC positions.
2 - Before the season, Madsen had already vowed loyalty to Cal with an extension... to keep him out of Stanford's grasp. Most knew that it would be extra hard to pry him away from Cal (and more expensive than Pope's buyout). I never considered Madsen a real possibility. I also never thought that he was angry at BYU.
6 - Most thought that Jax was NBA bound after the season... before Pope left. Based on his comments and actions, it always seemed that if the NBA wasn't happening this year BYU had a shot.
