It very clearly says NEW Mexico. What more do you want?
Should they add an image of the Mexican flag under a Ghostbusters-style prohibited sign so you know it's not "that" Mexico?

Actually not weird at all. New Mexico heritage is much more about Native American culture than Mexican. It’s confusing
