To talk about something other than work.

She thought talking about soccer and Real Madrid would do the trick. I literally have no clue what is happening with soccer even though it’s on every tv at the gym each morning. All I see are mostly skinny dudes running around pretending to be hurt. I usually respond that I prefer sports where athletes have to use their entire body, but I didn’t do that with this lady.

I can see the appeal of the sport though. You can have totally outmatched teams still compete because there’s a heavy element of chance.
