AK was still in the top half of defenders on our team due to sheer size probably, and he'd get the occasional blocked shot.
The eye test suggests AK >>>>> KK offensively, and KK >>>>>> AK defensively, but it's more subtle than that. They grade out very similarly overall/combined, and it's more like AK > KK offensively, and KK > AK defensively.
I suspect it's because AK is still a bigger/taller player than Keita, and size tends to provide a big advantage defensively in the post.
