Jamal Murray just got a small fine 100k and no suspension for throwing an object onto the court in the middle of play and players actually stepped on it. It was stupid and dangerous and definitely merited at least a 1 game suspension.

They suspend bench players a full game for taking one step onto the court when an altercation happens. How is what Jamal Murray did not worse?

I clarify small fine as 100k. Not to normal people. 100k is a significant amount of money. Jamal however makes 29 million a year. That’s .00345% of his salary. For someone who makes 100k per year that is the equivalent of $344 dollars.

Punishment doesn’t seem to fit if you ask me. I also really like Jamal Murray and not saying this cause I want the nuggets to lose or anything.
