KY has held Baker, Hall, Saunders, Fouss, Waterman, & Knell. Who else has done that? No-one! Not in this Wild West world
He's brought in Keba. Baker and Keba project to be very high end players. That's 7 legit major minute guys, a core superior to what BYU had last season.
It's not yet enough to sustain through a grueling schedule but it's close.
And it's not too early to suggest that the top 7 players RIGHT NOW are stronger than the top 7 last year. Expect the 5 lettermen to be better. The 2 adds of Baker and Keba look like stars to me, maybe big stars. The improvement of those 5 returning plus Baker and Keba more than offset losses.
We know there will be yet more additions that are likely to replace one or more of those in the top 7.
It's not too early to project this team will be stronger than last year, and I'm perplexed as to why that is not obvious to everyone who knows the territory.
As always, such projections are subject to good health of those 7.
It's not too early. It's clear as daylight.
