Its more fitting for the anchorman character to show up at special events
Also, I like the anchorman character. I think it’s a satirical attack on the news media that no one else has really done
On the other hand, NASCAR drivers are an easy target that gets satirized a lot. I also don’t think people would understand why Ricky Bobby would show up to present an Oscar
