Prior to signing with UCLA, he was team captain of the Turkish U18 national team. At the FIBA U19 world championship in summer of ‘23 he averaged 11.4 pts, 8.3 rebs, 3.7 assists, 1.6 blocks.

He dropped 19 pts on Team USA in the 3rd place game leading Turkey to victory.

This is why he was assigned a 94 grade by 247 and considered by many to be a future NBA player.

He’s a stat stuffing 4/5 that has talent to score in the paint, off the pick and pop, good court vision, rim protector, rebounder. Very versatile game, lots for KY to develop here.
