Completely depends on the airline and route. Different catering at different airports can’t help but impact food quality
Most consistent catering and food quality have been when flying out of Tokyo (either airport is fine), Seoul, Doha, and Istanbul. It’s a crap shoot flying out of Delhi, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Heathrow, and Manila. It’s been consistently really good when flying out of Paris.
Flying inside the US with food is always consistently mediocre.
