What is your intent?
If it’s just to keep him busy, those boot camps can be pricey. If it is to help him really start learning programming, I would suggest have your 12 year old go through some YouTube tutorials. My favorite is Mosh Hamedani. He is a great instructor and really helps you get a great understanding with some projects under your belt. Then if you want to go further you can join his paid versions. Udemy is a great resource as well.
