It’s funny how reluctant the English are to call their lower divisions “2nd” or
“3rd” division or whatever, like most countries do. So their 2nd division is the “Championship” and the 3rd division is “League One”? They both sound like they should be the 1st division, the top tier — except that that of course is the Premier League.
