what this family has gone through in the last few weeks. For his whole career, he went to work knowing that something like this could happen. Worse, this was the worst fear of everyone in his family. And then it happens. And then you have to deal with it. And then you have to ask why and try to make some sense of it.
He and they should get anything and everything they want to help them deal with it. Big funeral, traffic stopped, a statue, a street named after him- whatever it takes.
They have sacrificed in a way most of us cannot imagine because he was willing to serve. Not many are.
