All these threats to demolish Abravanel Hall are all unfounded. It sure seems like KSL is trying to get a knee jerk

reaction out of you.

They use words like "'could' include the demolition of Abravanel Hall" but never say who is saying that.

They do talk with Eyre, who is worried about losing the Hall but... again, his worry is unfounded also. As far as I can see, only KSL is talking about the Hall evening having a potential to be demoed or relocated (if you can find another source, please send  it, i would be interested in reading it).

 



Renovation may be in the works, but a complete demo or relocation is probably the last things that's being considered.

Salt Lake County owns roughly 30 acres of land that include the Salt Palace, Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and Abravanel Hall. Abravanel is due to be renovated soon, and this could be an opportunity to change its orientation, as well.
