If Waterman thinks they are recruiting over him, it makes sense to enter the portal. If they bring in guys who will
play in front of him, he can go elsewhere to get more time. If the rumored guys don't sign, or if he's good with the challenge, he can stay at BYU. It seems like it would be the wise move for him.
