Every season to at least see what is out there is stupid.

Make it so that if you enter the portal you cannot come back to your team and you forfeit any scholarship or NIL deals you have. Players would have to be pretty sure that they have a good landing spot before they go test the waters.

This current system is set up to be a nightmare for coaches and create a lot of apathy from fans.
