I think a player that is good enough to earn NIL will make more NIL money if
he enters the portal in 99/100 scenarios. Whether that be with a new team, or his current team’s collective putting together a bigger package.
It makes college basketball worse, but you’re living in fantasy land if you get mad at players wanting to maximize their NIL, and unfortunately entering the portal is a great way to do that.
