While I appreciate Waterman’s dedication to the BYu program and I commend him for how much he improved last year, his numbers themselves are just okay so I’m sure he’s not necessarily their top priority if the coaches think they have better talent who will commit. This said there’s something to be said to trying to retain players who are invested in the program, so I personally hope he’s back, but it seems less likely now
